Trust is a product of vulnerability that grows over time and requires work, attention, and full engagement.

-- Brené Brown

MEGA Fundraising requires BEING candid, open, and vulnerable with donors.

And yet, most fundraising training focuses on the "doing" of fundraising.

The doing is the expected and familiar part: creating a plan, a program, and a list. It addresses choices about what activities to focus on and when to fit them in during a year (did we hear someone say "moves management?"). It’s about setting goals and taking the necessary action to achieve those goals.

That work is necessary for "doing" fundraising, but it is NOT sufficient for BEING a MEGA Gifts fundraiser.

MEGA Gifts Fundraisers ARE:

  • Present, open, and flexible
  • Curious
  • Deep listeners
  • Someone donors can trust
  • Compassionate and kind
  • Patient
  • Skilled at creating intimacy

By the way, these are some of the ways of BEING that make “doing” fundraising joyful, easy, and successful.

And yes, you can make some adjustments to who you ARE and how you show up to BE a MEGA Gifts Fundraiser.

This training program shows you how.

What's This Program All About?

Most fundraising training is like following a recipe for preparing a meal.  First, you do this, then you do that.  Put it in a pan, fry it up, and serve it.  Viola!

This training program is about how you become a great chef who prepares savory meals WITHOUT following a recipe.

Why You Need This Training NOW!

You already know HOW to DO fundraising.  Perhaps you are self-taught, mentored, or have received some great training in the past.

That will only take you so far.

Doing more with less leads to burnout and bail-out. That is NOT the answer.

This program will help you BE the MEGA Gifts fundraiser that will take you and your organization to the next level.

That's our promise!

What People Say About This Program

"I have grown into my potential and changed my relationship with the things that scare me most - believing in my worth, asking for help, and freeing myself from the scarcity mindset that has always held me back. Furthermore, I never realized how much the funding that I have been able to raise depended upon that transformation. I don't know where I would be had I not decided to take this leap of faith."

"I am learning to overcome the fear of sharing certain things because I feared others might not understand. But learning and being able to do this work is a  changing-my-life kind of situation. It’s been impactful to know how I can change a trajectory for something that is so important to me."

"I would say I was pretty reluctant as a fundraiser. I mean, I could, but ....  But now, I don’t grimace when I know I have to make that call ... I don’t put the fundraising off anymore, I don’t keep moving it down my list.  I will go tackle it and I feel prepared to have those conversations.”
